Crisis consulting.

The focus of our crisis consulting services is very simple.  We:

  • Help businesses prepare for dealing with unexpected issues, problems, or potential crises - before they happen

  • We advise on the right strategies for managing any unexpected development should it occur

  • We advise on the ways business can recover from those events, and restore credibility around their reputation

Our approach 

Prepare

Each issue or problem has a degree of detail which is bespoke to any organisation seeking our support. Many businesses have plans and procedures that exist for such things; our remit is not to reinvent those plans but to ensure that they are as robust, relevant, and deliverable should an issue or crisis hit.  If no plan or approach exists, then we can help devise one and provide advice and training for businesses.

Manage

We can also assist should a problem arise at any client with on the ground, or remote, advice with expertise culled from our thirty+ years of managing such events. While a lot of our work is in the UK, we can and do advise and become involved in issues and crises that occur internationally, and can leverage a network of other experts to assist should that be required.

Recover

Finally, we also advise on the aftermath of an issue, helping clients assess how they did and what they could improve. Our expertise is in crisis communication and handling, as we are not operational experts. In all three areas we may involve additional experts, such as lawyers or insurers, on issues of liability, working harmoniously with those of our clients, or experts we can recommend should that be required.
