The Houses of Parliament in London

Policy consulting.

Our services help companies navigate the Intersection of business, politics, and public policy.

We offer three broad services:

  • risk assessments

  • strategy planning

  • engagement programmes

Our approach

Risk assessments

We can help to identify specific areas of potential risk within Government policies for businesses in many sectors. This includes where there has been Governmental or key people changes or developments of concern, and when periodic change occurs in their policy commitments. This involves the mapping of initial promises, the evaluation of specific policies in given sectors, and monitoring of possible change at Budget or Spending Review announcements.

Development of strategies

We work with you to devise the appropriate strategy to engage with policy makers. This involves the assessment of scenarios for those areas of policy considered a possible risk, with carefully designed workshops to sift, agree and create the right and appropriate strategy for your area of risk.

Engagement programmes

This involves: mapping of stakeholders associated with the area of potential risk; the development of plans for engagement with those stakeholders and others; message and team preparation prior to engagement; and if needed assistance for the implementation of a strategy of engagement.  We believe our clients should undertake direct advocacy themselves, but we remain committed to support and advise as appropriate as the engagement programme is undertaken.

Each module of support is bespoke for a client, and dependent on the area of policy, and nature of the issue, audiences, and desired outcomes, are priced appropriately in terms of our time to undertake activity in any or all of the areas.

More details of our approach, and terms, can be provided once we have understood your needs.

We can respond in confidence once we have received that indication, through the completion of the confidential form found on the Services page or through the Contact page.
